FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSClick on any of the questions below for the answer: What do the Fat Burning Drops do? I forgot to take my Fat Burning drops! What now? Why am I getting constipated if I eat properly? I am following the program but still, my ketostix is not changing colour. I’m hungry, what should I do? I’ve purchased the Fat Burning Program, got all excited, and took my drops but a few days later I’ve lost my motivation and I’m eating bread again!! I feel tired, why is that? Why are we skipping breakfast, isn’t it the most important meal of the day? Why is fruit limited? I thought it was natural and healthy? I love drinking my wine at night, it relaxes me after my busy day. How many carbs a day will put you out of ketosis? Can I eat keto snacks (low in carbs) between meals? I’ve heard that dairy products are mucus-forming and not good for general health, is that true? I’m following the program perfectly, but I still can’t lose weight fast enough to see significant results. I have lots of aches and pains and that stops me from exercising. What can I do? Counting the carbohydrates is stressing me out, I’m too busy for that. Is there an easier way?
The Fat Burning Drops are designed to balance your thyroid, regulate insulin levels to allow fat burning process, and help with emotional eating. They are an essential part of the program and should be taken daily morning and night, 15min away from food. I have had great success recommending these drops, they really make a difference to you being able to not feel hungry, eat less, and therefore burn excess fat efficiently.
Fat Burning drops are homeopathic so as a rule, the recommendation is to take them always away from foods and drinks. If you want a coffee, best to take the drops first, wait 5-10 min, then have a coffee. You want a great easy absorption without any interference to help them work their best.
Never mind, just take the forgotten dose and continue with the program.
Constipation is common on a ketogenic diet. When excess waste backs up in the colon, unwanted microbes can overgrow and the body will tend to produce higher amounts of stress hormones, throwing off blood sugar balance. The most common things that need to be addressed for constipation on a ketogenic diet are poor hydration, not enough fats, and not enough fiber. Drink more water, walk more, relax, and breathe deeply. You can also add spices to your meals, chilli, ginger, cardamon, fennel, mint. Highly recommend making a ginger drink: blend fresh ginger root with a glass of lemon juice in a Nutribullet and add daily to your water. It’s a fantastic digestive stimulant. Aloe Vera juice is also great to help you with constipation. When you have more fiber – vegetables in your diet and drink more water, your digestive system will regulate and you will be more regular.
I recommend taking the following supplements to help you with your regularity and better digestion:
● Detoxhouse Nervous System Support
● Detoxhouse Liver Detox
● Detoxhouse Gut Healing Fiber
Ketostix indicates ketones in your urine once you are in a fat burning process. It usually takes 2-5 days to get into ketosis, depending on your metabolism. The best thing to do is to fast as long as you can, limit fruit, exercise more, and be patient. It will happen when your limit intake of carbohydrates is low enough.
If you are hungry, your insulin levels are too high. Your body will stabilize over time, please be patient. Drink some hot herbal tea or have a snack including a small amount of fat and protein. (avocado with seed crackers or a few macadamia nuts, chopped cucumber with hummus, roasted seeds with tamari, or half a scoop of a Vegan Protein Powder).
If all these suggestions still don’t help, limit fruit for a few days and have only green salads with protein plus plenty of water and herbal teas. You will push your system to burn fats by limiting carbohydrates like fruit. Also exercise more, if you are stressed, listen to the visualisation provided in this program and go for a walk. Once the insulin gets stable, and you get into ketosis, you will not be hungry anymore.
My advice would be to listen to the visualisation by Sandy Forster. It’s designed to re-wire your brain and help you to make better choices. This visualisation will clear old beliefs to achieve your goals easier and faster. As Sandy says once you transform on the inside, then you transform on the outside. Our brain is so powerful, but also can be in our way if we are stuck in our negative self-talk. This recording contains subliminal messages, affirmations, special vibrational music, plus more…all to help us feel good about ourselves and create a positive lasting change. My advice would be to listen to it daily.
Another thing is to be prepared and buy only the foods on the allowed food list and plan it ahead. The biggest issue is emotional eating. Watching movies at night and eating is a common scenario. Try to avoid that, break this cycle and go to bed early. Light some candles, have a bath, read a book, call a friend, meditate, go for a walk, do yoga, listen to your favourite music.
Join our Fat Burning Facebook group to get inspired and motivated. It was created just for that!
You are most likely lacking magnesium and potassium – electrolytes. I would recommend supporting your body by taking a supplement called Detoxhouse Nervous System Support (take one teaspoon twice a day).
You could also be detoxifying which can make you feel exhausted for a while. Be strong and stay on the course! Once you get into ketosis, you will be burning your fat stores, your energy will improve. This program is designed to detoxify your system and boost your metabolism, it will happen once you adjust your diet and increase exercise.
Skipping breakfast in the morning helps your digestive system to catch up and detoxify. Your liver has more time to clean all toxins, it’s healing time! Fasting is allowing the digestive system to rest and to break down leftovers. Eating less is much healthier than eating too much, especially in the morning. Fasting speeds up your metabolism and it’s getting rid of old cells, tumours, and toxins. If you would like to speed up the fat burning process, fast till lunch.
For most of human history, the fruit was only available for limited periods during the year, mainly in summer. Fruit helped people to gain weight, to survive through the winter and hard times, and protect them from starvation. These days, fruit is always available, it’s picked green, ripen artificially, grown with chemicals, and sprayed. Most people find it difficult to process that excess of sugar.
Overall fruit is healthy but in smaller quantities. For fat burning, however, we need to limit the sugars to reduce insulin level so only small amounts of fruit are allowed: best are berries, grapefruit, and green apples. For fat burning, we need to get into ketosis. That’s why fruit may interfere with this process. Once you lose weight, fruit can be introduced again.
Wine is high in calories and it stresses the liver. A 250 ml glass of red wine has 230 Calories! It’s a habit that needs to be changed. Make a ginger drink (blending ginger root with lemon) and have it with sparkly water and ice. Have it in your wine glass. You can also add little Kombucha for extra flavour (‘Remedy’ brand has no sugar). It takes 28 days to change a habit, so keep drinking other healthy drinks to assist your digestion rather than hurting it.
I recommend having 25-35g carbs a day. Typically, consuming more than 25 grams of carbohydrates at once is enough to put you out of ketosis. However, if you are exercising, you can have a bit more carbs as you will burn it off.
We all have a different rate of metabolism, so it’s best to start at a low 25 g, check if you are in ketosis and add a bit more if you like, and keep checking the colour on the ketostix. If you are high (dark purple 8 or 16), you can have more colourful veggies like pumpkin, and a few more pieces of fruit and see how it is working for you. If you have more carbs and stay in ketosis, you can continue having that amount. Ketosis is telling us that we are in a fat burning mode.
It depends on what they are. I always check the ingredients. Keto bars, low carb cookies, muffins, low carb bread, etc., can be low in carbs, but often they are not the healthiest option.
If the bread for example contains wheat or soy and Canola oil, it will cause inflammation in the gut. So even if it’s low in carbs, it’s still causing problems. When we have inflammation, the body is retaining water leading to weight gain, make sure you are reading the ingredients. I like to use in my baking almond meal, coconut flour, stevia, olive oil, eggs, baking powder, and spices.
Avoid grains and vegetable oils. If you would like to have a healthy snack in between, have a handful of nuts or berries, seed crackers with avocado, chopped cucumber with hummus.
Yes, dairy products can be difficult to digest for most people, especially when the diet also contains grains and other processed foods. Usually, there is a big load on the digestive system so milk and cheese can be problematic.
In the Fat Burning Program, we exclude grains, sugar, and all processed foods. Vegetables are recommended in high amounts, and if we include small amounts of Greek yoghurt, small portions of the cottage, and parmesan cheese only a few times a week.
Although usually, I don’t recommend dairy products, I’ve allowed them in the program to make it easier to follow the recommendations so you aren’t too restricted. There are already a lot of limitations, so I wanted to include some of the foods most people like and are proteins, to have occasionally.
It’s best to listen to your own body and see if having dairy products agree with you. Signs to watch are bloating, cramps, loose stools, constipation, and allergies. If you do have those symptoms, avoid it completely.
The reason dairy products are mucous forming is that it’s difficult to digest. So the body is creating mucus to flush it from the system. Excess mucus leads to bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasite overgrowth. These pathogens like living in the mucus, so it leads to the spreading of these organisms. If you have issues with blocked sinuses, get frequent UTIs, headaches, or bloating, best to avoid it.
There are many causes that are stopping us from losing weight. The most common cause is stress. When we are under stress we produce cortisol which then stimulates insulin production. Insulin stops the fat burning process and creates inflammation.
I highly recommend taking Detoxhouse Nervous System Support, B complex, and listening daily to visualisation provided on the Fat Burning Program.
Getting enough sleep is also crucial (7-9 hours is ideal), go to bed no later than 10 pm.
Another common cause is poor liver function, Detoxhouse Liver Detox is added to the program for that reason. If you are already taking these two supplements and still not losing weight, check portion sizes, don’t have any fruit for a few days, just green veggies with small portions of protein plus exercise more.
If the insulin has been high for a while, it takes time to regulate again. You can also take an additional dose of the Fat Burning Drops. Most importantly stick to the program, be patient and look after yourself. Fat Burning Program definitely works if you follow it properly.
Fat Burning program was designed to lower inflammation and detoxify the body. It also helps to balance your hormones helping you with aches and pains. You can add Detoxhouse Nervous System Support, Turmeric, Ginger, MSM, VitD3 (min 5000 IU daily), Collagen, Alpha, Lipoic Acid, and Zinc to your program. All of these supplements help with inflammation and recovery after exercise.
You can also add Epsom salt to the bath, use cold showers to stimulate circulation, get a massage and use an infrared sauna to sweat all the toxins. If you get sore frequently, then only walk or stretch. Be more gentle and use exercise as relaxation. Swimming and biking are also great, not as hard on your body.
You can make it easier by using an app like FitDay or My Fitness Pal – there are free and paid versions. But yes absolutely, you don’t have to count carbohydrates if it’s too hard. You can just have 2-3 cups of vegetables from the allowed veggie list plus unlimited amounts of the free vegetables (lettuce, kale, spinach, most of the leafy greens). Always choose green veggies first as they are the lowest in carbohydrates. The idea is to get into ketosis so check your ketostix, if you have a pink colour, then you are burning fat. If not, you need to re-adjust it.
